Fun with ATCs challenge

Good morning, yes another post today!
Over at the Fun with ATCs blog the new challenge is vintage and as it's been a while since I've found time to enter any challenges I thought this would be a good one to start with. (And my mojo came knocking so when he arrives I listen)
I've made two ATCs so here they are my Mr and Mrs......

I kept them pretty simple. They are cut from mountboard and to me, the images have a lovely vintage feel. (but as they are my own design stamps it's not surprising.)
Mrs has been stamped in coffee archival ink, masked and the background stamped in green. I used Distress inks and markers to add colour and covered with a layer of clear UTEE. Once this had been melted and cooled I rubbed Walnut Stain Distress ink over to give a enamelled aged feel before adding a final layer of UTEE and melting it. A simple key embellishment to add the finishing touch.
Mr has been done similarly but using a different background in plum and a pen nib to finish.
I enjoyed making these and hope you like them.

Good morning friends
I hope you are well. this morning I thought I'd share with you a quick little card I made with my Party Mice stamp. Now you all know that I don't often do cute but  I do have some "go to" images when I need them so having them now available in stamps rather than having to draw them is wonderful!
I stamped the image in archival ink and stamped onto scrap paper too and made a mask before stamping the background. I think this looks like a real 70's carpet! I used Distress Markers and inks to colour everything in and used lots of water on the mice to blend.
I used an A4 blue card for the base and added some patterned papers. A bit of bakers twine and measuring tissue tape to add interest and then everything adhered down. The mice added with 3d foam and I added the numbers by adding brads but just adhering them to the card with 3d foam.

Hope you like it!
Take care

WOYWW 195

Good morning friends. it's been a couple of weeks
since I last took part but here I am. And here is my desk.

This week my desk is full of my new Stamps. I'm so thrilled to have them out. They are available from The Artistic Stamper HERE. It's such a blessing to be able to have them and thank you to everyone who has sent be such lovely comments on all my products, I appreciate them all.

I've discovered a quick way of colouring in that suits me with these two but I'll share those properly another day!
These two oversized tags show my two characters - Kiki and Franswar.

Pop on by to see more desks at Julia's place, HERE.
I'm struggling to do this post on my tablet so that's why I'm not saying much today. Actually now I've managed to get on my main computer I'm saying a bit more!
Also, just a heads up that over at The Craft Barn Blog today, Isa and I have a couple of mother's day ideas to share so I'd love it if you popped on over to take a look. The details are HERE.

Right, I'd better be off to work so I'll catch up with you all later. Hopefully this evening I'll have time to visit too!

Journal page

Good evening friends
Wow, what happened to the weekend? Can't believe it's Sunday evening already. Well; after the excitement and anticipation of the last few days today has been back to the reality of deadlines! Creative my work may be but deadlines none the less! Still I have managed to have a little play in my journal.......
I used my border stamps to create pockets on the right hand side and closed the pages with double sided tape. I took the main image from a magazine and adhered it to the page.
I've used Distress embossing powder and black embossing powder, torn some of the image off too. I did start working over it with a black marker but did not like that. Luckily Alcohol ink blending solution took it away and I kinda like the little bits you can still see and the slightly worn areas of the picture too so that's a bonus!
All the pages were coloured with Distress Stains and using my new background stamps I worked on all the tags, stamping with Archival inks and Distress inks too.
Here are the four of them.
 I love this one!
I also like the way my stamps work with other stamps too, like this script stamp from Tim Holtz!
I've still to add the rest of the journalling for the page, but it's titled The key to Wisdom.....
Hope you all have a great evening!

Drumroll please................Proud to announce!

Good day friends.
I hope you are all well. I've been sitting on this announcement for what feels like forever but finally today I can share and announce the arrival of my range of stamps, that's right, lovely red rubber stamps! I'm so excited I can burst as I've been dreaming of this for so many years and had sometimes almost given up on the idea. So this is why it is snowing in my part of England this morning
So, this is a very long, picture heavy post so you may want to sit down and grab a cuppa!

So, I thought today I would tell you what they are and show you some journal pages with some of them.
There are 6 backgrounds A6 size. Each background has a matching border stamp too which is so cool!
Then there are 4 birds, 4  cute characters and then there is Kiki and Franswar too.........
What is great too is that 4 of the backgrounds, the 4 birds and the 4 characters have been reduced in size and are available in mini sets containing 4 images great for mini tags and  ATCs too.
So, here's a closer look at my babies!

Background stamped in Fantasy Border
Main image is Fantasy Background

This page using Doodle, Doodle Bubbles, Doodle scribble and Hatched Background stamps in both sizes
And introducing Franswar........

This page using Retro Square Background and Border stamps (With my Geometric Mask too!)
And Artist Boy (9 x 7 cm)

This page shows how you can combine the borders as the all match in size.
This page has the Doodle Scribble background randomly along the top edges.
Then there are my Birdz; Money, Mechanical, Mystical and Funky, along with the Doodle Bubbles Border.

Then there is Kiki and Franswar!

So, whew, still with me?
So there are some of my new images, I'll be back tomorrow with more inspiration using the characters. From today they are going to be available from The Artistic Stamper online Store and if you are going to be heading off to Stamperama on Sunday, Jennie will have them there.
I'll keep you up to date with other stockists as the happen too.
Until then, I hope you like them and I'd love to hear from you so please tell me what you think!

Just a heads up.

Journaling class at The Craft Barn

Hi there folks
Today was my journaling class at The Craft Barn and, as expected, the ladies kept me on my toes all day giving me a rough old time! Force feeding me scones, French chocolate; as you can imagine I felt quite traumatised at the end of the day.....LOL
Here they are getting all inky and learning about hidden places, ways to create places to "hide" thoughts, make your journals more interactive and fun.

This was also day one of the Stitches Trade show up at the NEC. Unfortunately this year I couldn't be there but I am still excited about the launch of my new masks and book kits there! So if you are up there, do pop along to Tando Creative and take a look!  If you missed them on the blog then scroll back a few posts to get all the details!

Thought I'd share this with you too. My class on Friday March 1st at The Craft Barn We will be creating this journal as well as a pouch that fits inside filled with journalling prompts to get you going. Perfect as a gift or for journaling on the go! All the details are HERE
Hope you all had a good weekend too.
